Sam the Sloth was slow.
So slow.
The slowest in the whole jungle.

The monkeys swung fast.
The birds flew fast.
The frogs jumped fast.
But Sam?
Sam was slooooow.

"Why so slow?" asked the monkey.
Sam smiled.
"I'm not slow," he said.
"I'm... peaceful."
Sam closed his eyes.
He yawned a big yawn.
"Being slow is nice," said Sam.
"I see the pretty flowers.
I feel the soft breeze.
I hear the quiet sounds."
The monkey stopped.
The monkey listened.
The jungle was quiet.
The jungle was peaceful.
"Maybe slow is good," said the monkey.
Sam was already asleep.
Goodnight, Sam.
Sweet, slow dreams.
