Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, there lived a boy named Milo. Milo loved to play and laugh all day long but was a bit scared of bedtime. When the sun went down, the room grew dark, and shadows danced on the walls. Milo would peek under his bed, worried about what might be hiding there.
One night, as he snuggled into his soft blanket, he noticed something special. His shadow on the wall was a wiggly, giggly friend! It stretched and shrank, waving back at him. βHello, Milo!β it whispered. βIβm your Shadow Buddy, and Iβm here to keep you company!β
Milo blinked in surprise. βYouβre not scary?β he asked, feeling warm and cozy in his pajama castle. βNot at all!β said the Shadow Buddy, twirling around in the moonlight that peeked through the window. βI love to play games in the dark, like hide and seek!β

Milo giggled. βWhat games can we play?β he asked, his heart starting to feel light. The Shadow Buddy danced along the walls, showing Milo how to play with shapes. They made funny bunny shapes, tall tree shapes, even a swooping bird! Milo realized that the dark was not so scary with his new friend.
As the night grew quiet, Milo felt sleepy. The warm blanket hugged him tight, and he closed his eyes, imagining all the fun heβd have with his Shadow Buddy tomorrow. βGoodnight, Milo!β whispered the shadow. βIβll be here, waiting for our next adventure!β With a soft smile, Milo drifted off to sleep, dreaming of giggles and shadows, cozy in the knowledge that his friend would always be near.
And so, in the gentle darkness, Milo learned that the night could be warm and wonderful, filled with friends and dreams. π
